Assistant High School Principal

The Hopewell Area SD is seeking a full-time (12-month) Assistant High School Principal. Hopewell HS includes approximately 650 students (Grades 9-12). A strong background in supervision, leadership, curriculum & assessment development, and modern instructional practices is desired. Athletic Director

The Hopewell Area SD has a vacancy for the position of Athletic Director available for the 2024-25 school year. The Athletic Director oversees all aspects of the district's middle and high school athletic programs. Hopewell is a member of District 7 (WPIAL) and the PIAA. This contracted administrative position will have an annual salary of $25,000. For those who have a PA Educator profile, apply directly through the PA Educator portal. The Hopewell Area SD has immediate bus and van driver positions available. The district also offers free on-site training to obtain CDL credentials!

Full-Time Bus Drivers - $23.40/Hour

Full-Time Van Drivers - $20.42

Full-Time Bus Monitors - $19.42

Teaching Positions

School Psychologist

The Hopewell Area School District is seeking a certified School Psychologist who is dedicated to supporting student learning by meeting the needs of the whole child. The School Psychologist performs comprehensive diagnostic psychological evaluations and assessments necessary to determine student eligibility for gifted and special education programs.

This is a full-time contracted position beginning at the start of the 2024 - 2025 school year. Starting contracted salaries for the 2024 - 2025 School year for all individuals with a Bachelors Degree would be $58,820 and $63,420 for all individuals with a Masters Degree. Up to 20 days of additional work may be required during summer months with additional compensation paid. Position will remain open until filled.

Substitute Teachers

Substitute Custodians

Cafeteria

Food Service Positions

The District is currently hiring for cafeteria positions. Interested Applicants should apply at the District's Central Office located at 2354 Brodhead Road (in front of the Jr. High School). Any questions, please contact the Food Service Director, Rhonda Fobes at (724) 375-6863.

The District is also currently hiring Substitute Food Service Workers. These positions are on-call positions used for filling in as needed in the cafeterias to cover employee call offs with most shifts being between 2-4 hours per day when needed. Applicants need to be available to work Monday thru Friday, pass state and federal clearances, and be easily reached by phone.

Paraprofessionals

The District currently has paraprofessional vacancies available. Compensation ranges are $18.20 - $19.00 per hour, depending on the position. Most positions will pay $18.76/hour in 2024-25. The application can be found online or by contacting Nancy Barber at 724-375-6691 x3009

Assistant Cheer Sponsors (2)

The Hopewell Area SD is seeking candidates for two assistant (JV and JHS) cheer sponsors for fall sports.
